The original Painting "Archipelago" was launched in NYC for Dulk's solo exhibition " Ephemeral Treasures". This print was relesed in collaboration with Pangeaseed Foundation in 2022.

Artist Statement

"Archipelago" is an artwork created last year and launched in NYC for my "Ephemeral Treasures" solo exhibition. To close out World Oceans Month, in collaboration with PangeaSeed Foundation, we are excited to release together this original artwork that represents the diverse wildlife in the different island archipelagos around the world.

As the main animal featured in the painting, an incredibly rare albino humpback whale is being converted into part of the archipelago and in turn, creating a place of refuge, or protected habitat, for all the birds and marine species. The viewer will also discover the souls of the lost animals, especially whales, flying in the sky reminding us what's at risk of being lost forever.
